HYPERPIGMENTATION & HEALING
Although this TCA peels does remove dark spots & patches, skin tones FITZ III-VI experience ‘PIH'(post inflammatory hyper-pigmentation) after doing treatments like chemicals peels, laser hair removal, deep microneedling, etc. To prevent PIH, it’s best to use skin bleaching cream at least once daily 1 week before your TCA peel. Then starting 2 days after your TCA peel start applying your skin bleaching cream/serum again, once daily for 1 week. This is always best for FITZ III-VI skin types whenever you do a chemical peel or receive a laser treatment (i.e. CO2, hair removal, etc.). Using skin bleaching cream before & after, prevents ‘PIH’ that usually occurs after having these types of medispa treatments. Even if the skin doesn’t sting/burn while using chemical peels {or lasers}, these treatments still cause a little bit of redness/irritation to the treatment area. And with FITZ III-VI skin, after redness comes hyper-pigmentation (PIH). So for best results use HQ30% Skin Bleach before & after using a TCA peel (or any of my chemical peels). This will further remove dark patches and also prevent PIH.
