FIBROBLAST PLASMA THERAPY
Plasma fibroblast therapy is an aesthetic procedure some healthcare providers offer as an alternative to laser resurfacing, phenol peels, or surgical face lift to tighten and improve the appearance of skin. This therapy is fairly new to the aesthetic/beauty industry and many providers are starting to offer this service because of demand. Stretchmarks can be diminished completely with fibroblast plasma therapy treatments. You can include this treatment in the above regimen to remove your stretchmarks even quicker. Your fibroblast plasma treatments must be at least 4 weeks apart, after your skin has peeled & healed. You can either purchase your own plasma pen from isis.gold or go to your local spa/cosmetic surgeon’s office to have it done professionally.
Plasma fibroblast therapy (aka plasma skin resurfacing) targets fibroblasts. These are collagen and protein producing cells in the dermis, the layer of skin just below your outermost skin layer. Fibroblasts play an important role in helping skin wounds heal as well as maintaining skin firmness and tightness. Plasma fibroblast therapy uses a pen-like device that discharges a high-frequency electric current to small areas of the skin. The plasma tip doesn’t directly touch the skin, but instead releases a targeted current just above the skin. The hot current creates small holes, or micro-injuries, in the skin’s layer. According to an 2019 article published in the PMFA journal, the thermal disruption, or heat damage, from plasma fibroblast therapy:
• Breaks down proteins in the skin
• Encourages tissue regeneration
• Stimulates fibroblast activity
• Causes tissue contraction (tightening)

PRICING DIFFERENCES
If you’re familiar with these devices, I’m sure you’ve seen the many different models and the many different prices. Some are as low as $60 and some up to $4000. Guess what??? They are all the same! So don’t get duped into paying hundreds for this device. They all work exactly the same, and all are very light weight devices (purposely designed this way). Paying for extra needle heads is what gets expensive since you have to use a fresh sterile needle head for each treatment. And if you aren’t running a spa, paying thousands for a plasma pen wouldn’t make sense. Also know that all fibroblast plasma pens are manufactured in China, so sellers that claim theirs is a better “specialized” model and made in the USA are full of crap. In any case, I advise you to at least try a less expensive model before purchasing a plasma pen for $1500 and $4000.
HOW LONG DOES THE TREATMENT LAST?
Fibroblast treatment length will depend upon the size of the area that’s being treated. You can expect the procedure to take anywhere between half an hour and two hours. A topical numbing cream will be applied before your treatment and given thirty minutes to take full effect. You’ll also be given a cream after your procedure to help in the healing process.
How Long Will the Results Take to Show Up? You should notice results immediately after your appointment. As cell turnover occurs and the production of collagen increases, you’ll notice further changes to your skin. You should expect to see the full results of your treatment after around three months. Fibroblast procedure results typically last for three years.
