Skin Lightening Soap Without Hydroquinone

L-Ascorbic acid (vitamin-C) is a potent antioxidant chemical that is used topically in dermatology to treat and prevent photo-ageing & hyper-pigmentation. Vitamin-C Soap is the very best alternative skin lightening soap without hydroquinone. Vitamin-C evens skin tone; smooths rough textured skin; removes fine lines & wrinkles; removes acne scars. With continued topical & oral use, vitamin-C can help prevent dark spots from forming in the first place. Because vitamin-C is unstable and difficult to absorb into the dermis in the optimum dosage, stable liposomal compounds of Vitamin-C have been created to enhance the delivery of Vitamin C into the dermis. Vitamin-C is essential for collagen & elastin biosynthesis, and it is also an anti-inflammatory. There are whitening agents that interrupt key steps of melanogenesis (melanin production), Vitamin-C is one of those particular depigmenting agents. Tyrosinase converts the amino acid tyrosine into eumelanin/pheomelanin, the pigments that gives your skin its color. Vitamin-C whitens skin by interacting with copper ions at the tyrosinase-active site and inhibits action of the enzyme tyrosinase, thereby decreasing melanin formation. Vitamin-C also acts on perifollicular pigment. Oral vitamin-C alone diminishes the hyperpigmentation around your hair pores, and the dark bumps that result from Keratosis Pilaris. Your body requires vitamin C in all stages of wound healing. Applying vitamin-C to a healing wound will speed up healing and reduce scarring. Because vitamin-C is highly acidic, when it is used topically the skin is triggered to heal itself by accelerating the production of collagen and elastin. Collagen and elastin are both naturally occurring protein fibers that help keep skin plump and firm. This is also how vitamin-C is able to prevent premature ageing.

If you prefer a skin lightening soap without hydroquinone, a potent vitamin-C soap is a great alternative. I have reconfigured the way I formulate my skin bleaching soaps. This has enabled me to increase the potency and make them much stronger, and the new airless bottles keeps the soap from turning brown (oxidizing). This new soap is more of a thick paste that easily foams, gives great lather, and is now contained in airless bottles just like my skin whitening creams & serums. This new soap form functions as a skin whitening soap, skin whitening cream, and skin whitening masque. To use this soap, you rub it onto your skin like lotion, apply it all over you body (or just one area) then let it sit for at least 5 minutes. After that, get into the shower wet your skin then scrub in a circular motion with your exfoliating bath gloves then rinse. You can leave this skin whitening soap on longer (up to 30 mins) just like a body/face masque and then rinse it off. Skin bleaching creams only need 30-60 minutes to work after that it’s just extra, so if ever you’re in a situation where you can’t leave skin bleaching cream on your skin, let it sit on your skin at least 30 minutes before rinsing it off.

This Vitamin-C soap is highly-potent and will bleach your skin several shades whiter, only if you’re currently exfoliating your skin with Saliclear and Tretinoin Gel 0.1%. If you’re new here, please understand this before purchasing this product. Vitamin-C 40% soap is the best alternative skin lightening soap without hydroquinone.

I’ve added DMSO to this vitamin-C 40% soap so that the active ingredients can penetrate deep and also to help preserve the vitamin-C. DMSO is a excellent natural penetration enhancer, anti-inflammatory, and tissue healing agent. Dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) is an organic sulfur extracted from the wood in pine trees. DMSO has many uses as a prescription medicine and dietary supplement. DMSO can be taken by mouth, applied to the skin, or injected into the veins (or by IV). DMSO is commonly used in sports medicine to decrease pain, speed the healing of wounds, burns, muscle and skeletal injuries. DMSO is also used topically to treat painful conditions such as headache, inflammation, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and severe facial pain called tic douloureux. It is used topically for eye conditions including cataracts, glaucoma, and problems with the retina; for foot conditions including bunions, calluses, and fungus on toenails; and for skin conditions including keloid scars and scleroderma. DMSO is sometimes used topically to treat skin and tissue damage caused by chemotherapy when it leaks from the IV that is used to deliver it. DMSO is used either alone or in combination with a drug called idoxuridine to treat pain associated with shingles (herpes zoster infection). Intravenously, DMSO is used to lower abnormally high blood pressure in the brain. It is also given intravenously to treat bladder infections (interstitial cystitis) and chronic inflammatory bladder disease. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved certain DMSO products for placement inside the bladder to treat symptoms of chronic inflammatory bladder disease. DMSO is sometimes placed inside bile ducts with other medications to treat bile duct stones.

Ferulic Acid 6%: Ferulic acid is a powerful antioxidant naturally found in the cell wall of plants including bran and certain fruit seeds where it helps to protect and preserve. In skincare, it does the same: protects & preserves. Applied topically, ferulic acid can protect against free radicals and help with skin rejuvenation. Ferulic Acid diminishes fine lines and wrinkles; strengthens and firms skin. Ferulic acid works in synergy with other potent antioxidants. It not only stabilizes highly oxidative vitamin-C, it actually intensifies the efficacy of vitamin-C and other antioxidants. According to the Journal of Investigative Dermatology, “Ferulic acid alone (and vitamins C and E) provides partial protection but vitamins C, E and ferulic acid [altogether] provide virtually complete protection.”

Hesperidin 3%: Also known as lemon peel extract or orange peel extract, Hesperidin is a bioflavonoid with high concentration in citrus fruits (more specifically in the actual peels of lemons & oranges). In addition to its well-known benefits for cardiovascular function (spider/varicose veins treatments), type II diabetes, and anti-inflammation, recent studies have demonstrated multiple benefits of hesperidin for cutaneous functions. Including wound healing, UV protection, anti-inflammation, antimicrobial, anti-skin cancer, and skin lightening. In addition, hesperidin enhances epidermal permeability barrier homeostasis in both normal young & aged skin. The mechanisms by which hesperidin benefits cutaneous functions are attributable to its antioxidant properties, inhibition of MAPK-dependent signaling pathways, and stimulation of epidermal proliferation, and lipid production. Hesperidin can be taken as an oral supplement also. [Source #1, Source #2, Source #3, Source #4]

Vanillic Acid 10%: Vanillic acid is extracted from the seeds of the vanilla bean. Vanillic acid is a potent anti-oxidant & tyrosinase-inhibitor said to be stronger than both vitamin-c (ascorbic acid) and kojic acid. Vanillic acid is highly stable, compared to vitamin-c and kojic acid, against heat & oxidation. Vanillic acid is usually added to herbal skin whiteners as a co-whitener to intensify their whitening efficacy. Being a strong antioxidant and free radical scavenger, vanillic acid can contribute to skin protection from damaging action of free radicals that are formed under UV and premature skin aging. Vanillic acid has been shown to have good penetration for the epidermis and dermis upon topical application. [Source #1, Source #2, Source #3,].
